THE CAR
My car, as mentioned in the "About Us" page, is built on a 1995 Nissan 240SX chassis. However from there, the car takes on some serious modifications.

CHASSIS
The chassis was stripped and stitch welded. I
then fabricated a tube front end from the strut
towers forward with type U body custom front
bumper. We extended the tube frame to the
rear section with rear over fenders and added
an 8 point roll cage. Then modified the transmission tunnel to fit the transmission.

HORSEPOWER
The power plant started life as a GM 6.0
liter V8 turbo LS that was de-stroked to
335 cubic inches. She's fully balanced
and blueprinted. The engine was built by
Matt Stuart at Redline Performance in
Hallowell, Maine. Matt used a Stage 4
camshaft, Eagle Rods with Wiseco
custom pistons. Matt topped things off
with a Holley Electronic Fuel Injection, with 66 lb. injectors, a 78mm Turbo and 31"x12"x 4" inter-cooler all fed by a Holley fuel pump.

GET THE POWER TO THE PAVEMENT
With all that horsepower on tap, the engine is coupled to a Rankin 4 speed Dog Box transmission and a Quarter Masters 7.25 twin disk clutch and custom driveshaft.
The rear end ratio depends on the event with
a 4.08 to 4.90 gear ratio.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Drifting needs an awesome amount of power to keep the rear wheels spinning at very high revs. Thanks to Matt Stuart, and my other sponsors, my Nissan is one heck of a Drifting Machine.
